Thanks to the use of Ever integrated closed loop SM4D stepper motors with a ProfiDRIVE interface, an efficient and versatile solution has been created for the customer. This highly versatile stepper motor is available in multiple frame sizes (Nema 17, Nema 23 and Nema 24) and features integrated electronics.
It supports the main fieldbus protocols such as ProfiNET/ProfiDRIVE, CANopen, EtherCAT, Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP, and offers closed-loop control with incremental or absolute encoders.
Such solutions are increasingly being adopted by machine builders because they significantly reduce wiring and enable fast and easy installation. Naturally, these products can also be used in a wide range of other applications.
